Luke 11:14-23
He cured a man who could not speak
And freed his tongue to talk
And his enemies accused him
Of doing the Devil’s work
Folk who could talk so freely
Employed the gift of words
To blacken one so innocent
Theatre of the absurd
Our age an age of media
We deal in words all day
And blacken one another
When we go out to play
Don’t waste your words on negatives
Inviting a defence
Speak in words so positive
You bring the world to sense
