Mark 3:7-12
Always have your escape route planned
James Bond gave good advice
And Jesus up in Galilee
Would need that sound device
The crowds were gathering thick and fast
Danger he might be crushed
So Peter and his fishing boat
Were ready in case they pushed
And when his foes assembled
To catch him in his talk
Jesus had a way with words
A wisdom he could walk
So all their traps were useless
To bind him to their need
Until in old Jerusalem
They finally made him bleed
But even then to our surprise
There came a great escape
The stone rolled from the tomb
Of this what will we make?
Did someone steal his body?
Did someone rob the tomb?
Or is this the great escape
As one coming from the womb
