Good will overcome evil
Truth will overcome lies
Justice will overcome wrongdoing
All evil we despise
And light shall overcome darkness
And kindness overcome hurt
And patience overcome temper
And rubbish give way to worth
And living shall overcome dying
Life shall overcome death
There will be an end to crying
Though all shall take the last breath
The Lord who shared this life with us
And endured its utter pain
Went through death to guarantee
That life shall be again
All the signs are with us
The sun returns each day
The life that dies in winter
Returns in spring’s bright day
The curse of death is broken
Commit your self to him
The Lord of life has woken
A world once dead in sin
