Human rights and liberties
The West is full of them
While Indonesia
Is cracking down on sex
The Muslim world is reverent
Unlike the decadent West
We in the West shout ‘freedom’
And think that we are best
But freedom is destroying us
At least our version of it
We think we are free
To do what we like
Change sex our latest habit
There is no higher value
Than my right to be free
Where did we get that notion?
To live so selfishly
At start of Mass in the old days
We said ‘Confiteor’
And we listed everybody
In heaven and below
As people we confess to
For the wrongs that we have done
We made our peace with everyone
It’s a good way to begin
