Have you found the treasure in the field?
Have you found the pearl beyond all price?
The Dalai Lama seems at peace
Spiritual and wise
Time for me to wise up too
To open wide my eyes
God’s kingdom is a land of simple joy
A word of peace and kindness
All virtue to employ
We never seem to find it
Elusive to our grasp
Yet every day it beckons us
Seek and knock and ask
The world is daily turmoil
Confusion and unease
Argument and conflict
It brings us to our knees
A good place to come to
A place of humble thought
To know the power within you
The kingdom that you sought
