A happy place

Coal fire collie dog

Loving parents siblings

Tasty food

Safe and warm at night

All things good

 

Now my home is Stirling

Cosy house

Widowed now ten years

I do not grouse

Margaret was my home

My happy place

Even now

I see her smiling face

 

The word of God each day

Is welcome here

The Lord can make his home

Is always near

Each morning I awake

To hear his word

Without it

I find my life absurd

 

All our life

We are busy going home

Day’s work done

We want no more to roam

And when the last day comes

We’ll settle down

Thank God for home

And for the love I found
