The air is cold outside
My house is warm
The sky is brilliant blue
But the world is all alarm
And Putin won’t stop bombing
Now has much to lose
Such is the cost of anger
Ashamed when we blow a fuse
We usually say I’m sorry
When we step out of line
But going to war is different
This really is a crime
But Putin does not see it so
A special operation
To recover what belongs to him
Not another nation
We cannot walk away from this
Leave Ukraine on its own
We have to hold the line right here
With weapons of our own
A day of reckoning will come
Putin must face the truth
And answer for the things he’s done
That day will come forsooth
