Cathedral Rocks of Inis na Bro
Straight rising to the sky
Towering cliffs of energy
A powerhouse they lie
Off the coast of Kerry
All alone at sea
Bursting from the ocean main
Magnificent to see
A neighbour to the Blasket Isle
Tall stoney columns rise
And fulmars soar above their point
Hymn singing to the skies
And we below on tiny boats
Look at the utter size
Of stacks arising from the deep
A praise before our eyes
The world’s wonder sure it is
In land and sea and sky
And birds and animals alike
A feast for human eye
And we ourselves a wonder
If only we can see
The beauty at the heart of life
Our own humanity
