Approaching Holy Week
Time of cancel culture
When Jesus was blotted out
Like meat left for the vulture
When you have lifted up the Son of Man
Then you’ll come to know come to see
That I am utter goodness after all
And you will want at last to bend the knee
And I if a follower I will be
Must bend the knee before the Son of God
And let me every day be so sin free
That Christ may live in me
So help me God
The purposes of life are never done
I have my part to play each day I live
To witness to the Father and the Son
And by the Spirit learn how still to give
