A man born blind can see
And people with sight are blind
A powerful lesson here
And one for us now mind
We have our way of seeing things
Our frame of reference
And we don’t like being disturbed
By things that don’t make sense
And if we have authority
And like laying down the law
It comes as something difficult
To change to change at all
So Lord I ask your healing
For the things I do not see
And bring about good change
For the Pharisee in me
