Isolation is the killer
So always stay in touch
For human touch is tenderness
It can do so much
A handshake is a human touch
Bringing friendship warm
A mother’s embrace for her baby
Protects from all alarm
The human word is spoken
To join your life to mine
Letter phone or even text
Means we do not pine
The touch of Jesus always
Brings healing in its wake
Morning prayer and evening prayer
Healing for my sake
Don’t lose touch with people
Let them share your day
Think of them and pray for them
When they are far away
The sick and the dying
Need the human touch
Hold their hand support them
So little yet so much
