Mark 7:31-37
It is always personal
Contact with the Lord
If you want healing
Don’t stay in a crowd
Jesus and the deaf man
Find a quiet spot
His ears his tongue are loosened
‘Ephphatha’ breaks the knot
I am getting deaf these days
Hearing aids are mine
And as for speech impediment
I stumble time to time
I do not always hear so well
The murmurings of the heart
Sometimes I speak when silence
Would better serve the part
There has to be ambition
At every stage of life
It’s not enough to live and breathe
You also make your mark
To be like Christ in everything
Would make the world so bright
‘Ephphatha’ says the Lord to you
Now let your life be light
