Christmas is always special
It is a feast of love
And even if you don’t believe
In Christ or God above
Still the trains are running
Still we’re going home
To gather round the family hearth
To feel the warmth and some
Important to be together
Important to belong
To feel the Christmas cheer
To sing the Christmas song
To feel the magic in the dark
While winter cold outside
Somehow is tamed at Christmas time
And snow is wished world wide
The Lord is born at Christmas time
Light comes to the world
And every death transfigured now
The good news is heard
Christ who died did rise again
And life o’er comes the dark
And every day ‘s for living
And rising with the lark
