He wanted to see Jesus
That was all
And so he climbed a tree
He wasn’t tall
But Jesus came and talked to him
I want to dine with thee
His lonely days were over
Nearer my God to thee
Association changed his life
Changed his mentality
All his wealth he will now share
What good is it to me!
Our isolation hardens us
Others we learn to fear
We’ll climb a tree and have a look
But don’t let others near
Personal life political life
Walk on open ground
Associate with others
It makes acceptance sound
And that is the beginning
Of all that follows on
Treat all others kindly
It’s magic magic son
