Camels and dromedaries
Crossing desert sands
Travellers all in caravan
Making for new lands
Mary too and Joseph
Returning to their home
Thought their son with the caravan
Safe and not alone
People now in London
Leave the Tube and car
Step into the caravan
Not going very far
But far enough and long enough
They find good shelter there
Friendly faces friendly voices
Here you are! Take care
This caravan of people
Is ours – we’re in it too
Travelling to a Promised Land
I’ll take care of you
