When Mass is done
And procession leaves the church
The choir sings In Paradisum
That journey from this world to the next
Accompanied by song and silent wish
I chose it for a verse upon the tomb
Upon the grave stone
Where my Maggie lies
In paradisum deducant te Angeli
May the Angels lead you into paradise
Ten years have passed now
Since that solemn day
Ten years exact
Upon the funeral day
When Britain lays Elizabeth to rest
A quiet grave upon a quiet hill
That looks out far
The Highland Line is seen
And beyond what we can see
The unknown land
Where Angels sing
Where they will welcome thee
