Her voice
The Sixties’ sweetest sound
The girl from Melbourne sang to us
These strangers to our ground
Then the carnival was over
The girl she left the band
But her voice remained forever
Special special sound
Shining eyes
Gentle face
Vocally sublime
Lived her life in loveliness
The songstress of our time
