Shake the dust
That’s all you need to do
If they will not welcome you
If they will not listen
Shake the dust and leave it with them
Disassociate
Do not insult or call them names
Leave them to their fate
Far easier to call folk names
We are tempted to deride
Tempted to say such hurtful things
Anxious for our pride
But calmer counsels win the day
A stronger spirit rises
Just shake the dust and walk away
With the God of surprises
Dear old Boris bites the dust
Putin is delighted
But far more important things
In Ukraine are benighted
World leaders need to talk some more
To welcome and to listen
Peace the elusive goal for all
Peace the endless mission
