Chapel clothed in darkness
Silence in the air
Light around the altar
Crucifix hanging there
Benches await their kneelers
Sisters all in prayer
Adoration exposition
The Lord is always there
I am with you always
The promise of the Lord
The moment that you turn to me
Is the moment you are heard
Only sin drives me away
Repent and I am here
Friend of all your living days
I am always near
God is ever near us
It’s just that we don’t see
Most of all he is in my heart
Would I ever come home to me
Go into your inner room
Address your self to him
Grace there for the asking
Simply let him in
