Big words and foreign words
Can sometimes trip us up
And Gabriel Maguire
Was famed for such a slip up
Reading today’s gospel
Four thousand people fed
And then the disciples headed off
To a place knocked on the head
The place is Dalmanutha
A mouthful I agree
And in the mouth of Gabriel
It ran aground you see
As Gabriel neared the final line
He saw the dreaded word
And so he took a run at it
The best you ever heard
In his lovely Irish accent
He informed the listening crowd
The disciples headed off
For Dalma –toota bold and loud
And no one knows where this place is
It isn’t on any map
But Gabby has gone before us
We’ll meet him there old chap
