Even to touch the fringe of his cloak
That would be enough
Power would go out of him to heal
They knew it they had seen it
They had heard the tale then told
Just get near him touch him
Health worth more than gold
The same is true for us today
Reach out and touch his cloak
Let simple prayer rise up to him
To heal our hearts so broke
Faith is all he asks of us
Ask and you shall receive
It’s a two-way conversation
And his word does not deceive
Jesus was my hero
Right from the very start
I wanted just to be like him
Wanted to learn his art
And still I want to play that role
To be a healing bloke
Bringing health to everyone I meet
Whenever they see my cloak
