Wet and windy morning
Wrapped against the weather
Young folk there aplenty
Faithfully endeavour
To catch the word of Jesus
Given out today
Urbi et orbi
Francis has his say
Lists the many places
Of love in short supply
Poverty and hunger
People left to die
Nations still in uproar
Spoiling for a fight
Listen to this infant child
Learn how love is right
Let the word of Jesus
Enter in my heart
Live today and every day
As from the very start
Learn to be a child again
Open wide your eyes
Give wide embrace to everyone
Be your own surprise
