The truth I felt I saw there
Every word he said
It’s still at work
That powerful pull
Leading me each day
All that I am reading
Everything I say
Tonight I dive again into
That gospel mystery
Looking for the essence
The grace that sets us free
Tonight I find the words of Paul
Direct and to the point
In your life give up all things
That do not lead to God
Powerful pointers on the road
Pointing straight ahead
I’m still a preacher always was
Always want to be
The light of Christ our Christmas joy
Purify you and me
