John the Baptist sent messengers to know
Are you the one that we’re waiting for?
But anyone can say yes
Could be anyone’s guess
Jesus’ answer let them know for sure
Look around you at the things I do
Let your own eyes testify to you
The blind the deaf are healed
The good news is revealed
Let this be witness if I’m false or true
As we grow old our bodies tend to fade
And sadly too for some their minds degrade
But our spirit can grow strong
We’ve known it all along
This life we share is truly heaven made
