Having lost the power of walking
And lowered in through the roof
I find myself before the man
The man who knows the truth
The story of my life he knows
He sees my very soul
He wants to heal the whole of me
Not just my power to stroll
The healing of my body
A wonder to behold
But oh what light my life would see
If he freed my very soul
The darkness of the world you see
Comes from the human heart
And healing of the world will be
When I can play my part
A girl is stabbed a child is killed
A kidnapped woman dies
The murder of the innocents
Takes place before our eyes
Deliver us Lord from evil ways
May war and murders cease
And may I play my part this day
To bring our world to peace
