My son proposed to Holly
In the gardens of Versailles
Quite the romantic
Well done! son of mine
Later he lit a candle
In the cathedral of Notre Dame
Remembering his mother
At that time
A marriage and a death
Commemorated
Important
To do these things with style
We celebrated Margaret
In her passing
A lovely girl
Who stole my heart awhile
The marking of the seasons
Is important
Birthdays anniversaries day of death
The richness of today
Is funded from the past
The promise of tomorrow
To find the joy that lasts
Six month mind tomorrow
For my cousin
Raymond Cawley Chorlton citizen
And for my brother’s mother in law
A landmark day to come
One hundred years on Monday
Yorkshire lass well done!
