I listened on the radio
And smiled
Let’s not beat about the bush
I was delighted
Liverpool came to Manchester
To do what they can do
Knocked in 5 Salah 3
All against United
I had a feeling
This was on the cards
Liverpool a team
And they on fire
United
Assorted individuals
Demanding crowd
Passion turns to ire
A team game football
That the simple truth
Its power and its glory
Is the team
Talented individuals
All very well
But group cohesion
That is the real dream
A team needs
A manager of talent
A man of vision
Inspiration mind
Chelsea Liverpool
And City
But United?
That still yet to find
