I would love to see
Ireland united
A peaceful land
Surrounded by the sea
For that to happen
Change will have to happen
Change of heart
Change mentality
Never never never
No surrender
The Orange and the Green
The story goes
You cannot fight for unity
That is not the point of war
Victory and defeat
Is all it knows
You have to want something
If it’s going to happen
And patience is the work
That sees it done
We all must change
If we’re to live together
And slowly change is coming
Like the sun
The south has changed
Beyond all recognition
It had to change
A secular state become
More fitted for a future
Lived together
Let’s see how things progress
That the day may come
