England needs to be less

If it would be more

It has been too much for far too long

Time to close the store

Protestantism Empire

Industrial revolution

All of these now gone

You need a new solution

 

Diehards speak of Union

Let us preserve UK

It has never been an easy ride

Let it fade away

Ireland broke with Empire

Maybe Scotland too

And Wales is Wales and always was

You’ll never it subdue

 

But England lovely country

Lovely people too

You lost yourself along the way

Whatever happened you?

Forget your airs and graces

Your pompous upper class

Come home into your better self

Let it come to pass
