Mark 5:21-43
The finger of faith connected
And suddenly she was well
Amid that pressing thronging crowd
Her story she had to tell
So many quacks and doctors
All her money spent
Now the hem of his garment
Has sealed her heart’s content
Your faith has saved you Jesus says
Time and time again
He is not a one armed bandit
Or a convenient slot machine
He welcomes all who come to him
One thing asks in return
This is a relationship
Your faith in me I yearn
This act of trust self-giving
Adherence to the Lord
This is what he asks of us
When listening to his word
Come to me all you who labour
I will give you rest
This no one-way effort
You must give your best
