What will I be when I grow up?
My son once asked of me
Life is a long road I said
And only so far we see
What is near around us
We can understand
What is further down the road
Will one day be near at hand
So do the things that you can do
Let interest be your guide
And you will grow into your self
And in many things take pride
And something deep inside you
Will keep you going strong
And help will come and find you
If ever things go wrong
And now old age has come to me
A road still lies ahead
Important still to walk it
And banish any dread
Listen to his voice today
Be faithful to the vow
Our destiny is holiness
Tomorrow yes and now
