Chawton’s blessed den
Punch Bowl with my father
Lovely Lancashire
The Chetham Arms in Chapeltown
Where old Nat liked a beer
Many a happy evening
I sat inside a pub
Just the joy of being there
And of course the sup
A blessed institution
Where conversations thrive
And good ale keeps on coming
And then go home alive
