We must change from within
I read today
The world’s not going to change
Anyway
It’s your spirit within
Can eradicate sin
And with God’s grace
Each new day begin

How vital it is in sunshine in rain
To open your eyes
To life once again
After darkness of night
And sorrow and pain
And the lonely suggestion
To end it
Begin
Today is his funeral
And I only now
Discover this man
And his poems and how
So easy his way
With people to talk
He goes on his way
I’ll go for a walk
And pick up his poems
And carry his voice
The spirit’s forever
And you have a choice
