Where Hindsford FC played
Then the splendour of Alder House
Home to Atherton Colls
Where Chow Bent entertained
The Sacred Heart
Then the day I went to Burnden Park
All of seven years old
Followed those Wanderers ever since
The brave the bad the bold
The Reebok too has seen me
Today the Unibol
The Wanderers are on the rise
So good to hear that call

I also played football on many South London parks when I played for Clapham Harps, in the 1970s, including very often on Clapham Common. Match of the Day was not present on these occasions. Oh what they missed!
