Morning mist feather light
Covers our sleepy valley
Ochil Hills and River Forth
Railway coming from the north
Damp green fields
Where once was fought
The battle Bannockburn
In my cosy room I lie
Morning mist a lullaby
Double duvet cast around my bed
Getting old and hibernating
It still autumn agitating
Winter not yet here
So clear your head
A hearing test now startles me
All this noise I missed you see
Hearing aids upon the mantelpiece
Now they are back where they should be
New glasses too so I can see
A misty morning wonders never cease
