Family is fine
Sometimes a blessing
For others a misery and a curse
When it’s good it’s wonderful
Worth all the wealth of earth
When it’s bad it’s terrible
Nowt worse
Something more than family
Is needed
Life goes on well beyond the door
Friends and acquaintances
Appearing
Work colleagues
Fellow travellers galore
A simple grace
Can be our great connection
Make brothers, sisters, mothers,
Of us all
Do God’s will
In every human meeting
Bring grace to bear
Prevent a further fall
The power you possess
You won’t believe it
To change this world
By everything you do
The kindly word the smile
The calming presence
Set out each day
The power is given to you
