Life as lived is personal
Never in a crowd
Crowds gather for spectacle
Silent or very loud
Audience congregation
Listen in the still
Sporting crowds erupting
Demand you do their will
But life
Life is personal
You and I relate
Interplay communion
Love or sadly hate
Jairus came to Jesus
Through a gathered crowd
Pleaded for his daughter
Bending low and bowed
Woman with a haemorrhage
Reached out full of faith
Jesus sensing power shared
Heard her storied state
In the house the little girl
Still upon the bed
Jesus dismissing crowds who view
Spoke to her and said
Talitha Kum
Talitha Kum little girl get up
Words that stirred her spirit quick
Let her eat and sup
In the daily round of life
In the morning hour
Touch my spirit into life
Lord grant me your power
