Matthew 6:1-6. 16-18
We don’t live life
We watch it on TV
We spend our lives watching
How much do we see?
We don’t look
We record it on our phone
We’ll watch again
In the evening zone
This watching habit
Translates into ‘be seen’
Making a good image
Now our dream
Jesus tells us
Don’t go on parade
Impressing others
Wanting highest grade
Live life straight and true
In alms and prayer and fast
The Father sees what you do
Before him the die is cast
