Jesus is not a neutral presence
He is a positive power
Touch the hem of his garment
This will be your hour
Crowds converge from everywhere
All have heard the news
This man is a healer
Come take off your shoes
Restorer of your spirit
Stand before his face
Ask for what is needed
Your whole life embrace
Personal encounter
Changes you for good
Make that meeting every day
Stand now where he stood
Faith is active touching
Don’t just stand and stare
The first move in loving
Reach out I’ll be there

+ People wanted to touch Jesus. Touching was enough to connect with his power to heal. We often stand and stare and forget to touch.
