They really should change the anthem
It would help a lot
Scotland is far better
When England is forgot
Forget this Flower of Scotland
It’s dismal dour and dreary
Give me something to rave about
Give me Scotland the Brave
The Scots are a bonny people
Warm and fiery, true
But they’ve died too long for Scotland
We need some living to do
Before the game we hype it up
The tartan and the tammy
And then we watch as Schick delivers
A powerful double whammy
It’s that mournful tune
They always play
Before we’re even started
About the Flower of Flodden field
That saw old Scotland martyred
Away ye go and boil yer heid
It’s misery – go fling it
Give us back old Lauder’s tune
Let us really sing it
