Kinder

Only kindness cures
Not softness, kindness
I have seen the pain
On men’s faces
When they cannot see their children
Anger explodes
They do not know how
To say it right
To make it right
To see their children grow

And women suffer men
For women feel
As men refuse to feel
For feeling’s pain
And we avoid the pain like the plague

But kindness cures
For kindness is connection
With our nature
What kind we are
And kinder are our children
It’s all there
In the way they are

Let us become as little children
Kind
And bring the cure
To this world’s cruel cold

Be the kind of person
Who is kind
Practise it today
And see the change
Do not be neutral negative or numb
Much less dumb
Kindness is the cure
Let kindness come
