Arguing with her mum
My grandma anxious for her good
Aunty Nora watching on
Older sister enjoying fun
Enjoying where she stood
Gran and Kathleen in the fray
Arguing the score
Nora butts in with her piece
And what’s more what’s more
Kathleen’s having none of it
Battling on two fronts
Enough to face your mum and all
Don’t need other grunts
Turns on Nora
Where she stands
A broadside to deliver
‘You stick to your own department’
The arrow from her quiver
This encounter handed down
In family tradition
Kathleen on the warpath
Defending her position
Loving sisters in their day
Loving aunties too
Makes me laugh to think of it
Time I had a brew
