Words spoken in the glen
Written in a letter
Sent to me
After Margaret died
‘Brian is very good with words’
Inspired me to the pen
Write for goodness sake
Write again
Words are living essences
Coming from within
They bear the person’s spirit
In their sound
They are not dead upon a page
They bear the spirit in every age
Taking root
In every holy ground
The Lord, the Word
Who speaks to us
In Gospel words today
Conveys the breath of God
Into our hearts
In the world you will have trouble
But I have overcome
Be brave, he says
Choose the better part
