What can heal us when we hurt?
What can make us well?
How restore the happy heart?
Can you can you tell?
Expressiveness seems very good
Pouring out your soul
Letting flow the pent up flood
Letting torment roll
And reception by another
Listening carefully
Helps the healing process run
Brings back sanity
Words well spoken heal our heart
When they are received
A holy conversation then
Our pain can be relieved
So be gentle with your words
Careful how you utter them
Every word will leave its mark
Speak and never mutter them
Healing power is in our grasp
Words are meant for grace
Pray for help and always ask
The Lord will show his face
